Varicose vein treatment in Exeter

Once you’ve booked in for a consultation with our team, we’ll first start by completing a duplex ultrasound scan to assess your varicose veins at our clinic in Exeter. Using this scan of your varicose veins, our team will recommend a treatment plan that has been personalised based on your needs. This recommendation will be shared with you during your consultation session following the scan.

This treatment plan may include either radiofrequency ablation or foam sclerotherapy, or in some cases, a combination of the two. Once you’ve completed your treatment, our team will share comprehensive aftercare instructions and contact information to our aftercare team should you need any additional support once you leave.

Thread vein removal Exeter

Our Exeter clinic uses the latest modern technology to remove thread veins from the face, chest or legs. Following an assessment, our specialist doctors will recommend either thermocoagulation or sclerotherapy treatment. Both treatments are minimally invasive and require no down time, allowing you to get back to your day straight away.

What our patients say about us

Our vein treatment services in Exeter

Duplex Ultrasound Assessment
Non-invasive, painless ultrasound assessment to map your veins and formulate an appropriate treatment plan.

Radiofrequency Ablation
Used on larger veins, electric currents heat up a small area of a damaged vein, causing it to collapse and block itself off entirely.

Foam Sclerotherapy
A harmless foam solution is injected into the varicose vein, blocking off blood flow to the vein and collapsing it.

Microsclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is used to remove spider veins by collapsing the walls of the damaged vein, which causes the blood flow to be blocked.

Veinwave Treatment
Veinwave encourages the body to naturally reabsorb spider veins by applying microwave energy into the damaged vein.

Vein Treatment Aftercare
Our aftercare clinics help you to recover faster and help to ensure positive clinical outcomes for all of our patients.
